Salary

Annual compensation in Pounds (£) – competitive and commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the institutional sales franchise for digital asset derivatives across the Greater China region, with a primary focus on Hong Kong.

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to acquire new institutional clients (hedge funds, asset managers, banks, and proprietary trading firms) and deepen relationships with existing accounts.

• Collaborate closely with product, technology, legal, compliance, and clearing teams to ensure seamless onboarding, product delivery, and ongoing client support.

• Provide market intelligence and thought leadership on digital‑asset futures and options, influencing product roadmap and pricing strategy.

• Drive revenue growth while maintaining the firm’s risk‑managed, regulation‑first ethos.

• Represent the firm at industry conferences, seminars, and client events to raise brand visibility and promote the innovative market structure.

• Mentor and develop junior sales staff, fostering a high‑performance culture rooted in professionalism and compliance.

• Monitor and report on sales performance, pipeline health, and market trends to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading institutional sales teams in financial markets, preferably within derivatives, futures, or options.

• Deep understanding of digital asset markets, including cryptocurrencies, tokenised commodities, and related regulatory considerations.

• Exceptional relationship‑building skills with senior decision‑makers at global financial institutions.

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities to articulate product value propositions and risk‑management features.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and work closely with compliance and legal functions.

Desired Experience

• 8 years of relevant experience in institutional sales, with at least 3 years in senior leadership or head‑of‑sales roles.

• Experience selling digital‑asset derivatives, crypto‑futures, or similar innovative products is highly desirable.

• Background in a regulated trading venue, clearinghouse, or a major investment bank will be considered an advantage.
