Role Summary

The Alpha Quant Engineer – Sub PM will work closely with the Product Management team to design, develop, and maintain quantitative models that power our trading and risk‑management systems. You will bridge the gap between quantitative research and product execution, ensuring that sophisticated algorithms are robust, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quantitative models for pricing, risk analysis, and trading strategies.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Conduct rigorous back‑testing, validation, and performance monitoring of models in production.

• Optimize algorithms for low‑latency execution and high‑throughput environments.

• Maintain clear documentation of model assumptions, data pipelines, and performance metrics.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends in crypto markets, quantitative finance, and machine‑learning techniques.

• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• Strong background in quantitative finance, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Rust, with experience in scientific libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit‑learn).

• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, time‑series analysis, and stochastic processes.

• Experience with data handling, ETL pipelines, and large‑scale data sets.

• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.

Desired Experience

• 2+ years of experience developing quantitative models for financial markets, preferably in crypto or related digital assets.

• Hands‑on experience with low‑latency trading systems or high‑frequency trading environments.
