Revenue Critical Head of Sales Search Delivery

RAISE AI Summit | International AI & Technology Events

We were engaged to deliver a commercially critical Head of Sales hire for RAISE AI Summit, one of the leading AI-focused events bringing together global technology companies, AI labs, investors, founders and enterprise leaders.

The role required someone who could operate at the intersection of AI, enterprise technology, venture capital, sponsorship, partnerships and high-value event revenue.

Mandate

Head of Sales

The individual needed to lead commercial growth for a high-profile AI summit, build senior relationships across the global AI ecosystem, and convert those relationships into meaningful revenue.

The role required someone with the ability to engage and secure commercial participation from leading organisations across AI, infrastructure, frontier technology and investment, including companies and institutions connected to names such as OpenAI, DeepMind, Anthropic, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google, AWS, Accel, Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz and other leading AI investors and technology firms.

The Challenge

The talent pool was highly specific.

RAISE AI Summit needed a sales leader who could do far more than sell sponsorship packages. They needed someone who could:

  • Open doors at the highest levels of the AI and technology ecosystem
  • Build trust with senior decision-makers across AI labs, enterprise technology firms, VC funds and institutional partners
  • Understand the commercial dynamics of major global events
  • Drive sponsorship, partnership and enterprise sales revenue
  • Operate with speed, credibility and commercial judgment
  • Represent the brand in front of some of the most important companies shaping the future of AI

This required a rare combination of relationship depth, market credibility, sales execution and strategic judgment.

Outcome

We successfully placed the Head of Sales, who went on to play a major role in RAISE AI Summit’s commercial success.

The hire helped bring together 350+ commercial relationships, sponsors, partners and participating organisations across the global AI ecosystem, including leading AI labs, major technology companies, venture capital firms, infrastructure providers and enterprise buyers.

The placement had a direct impact on revenue generation, helping RAISE AI Summit unlock significant commercial value and build a much stronger presence across the AI market.

Impact

This was a revenue-critical leadership hire where the right person made a measurable difference.

The successful candidate was not simply a salesperson. They were a market-maker: someone able to connect the right companies, investors and decision-makers around one of the fastest-growing sectors in the world.

For organisations hiring a Head of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer, Partnerships Leader or senior commercial operator, this is where the quality of the search matters.

The best commercial leaders are rarely active applicants. They are already building revenue, managing strategic relationships and creating market momentum elsewhere.

Our expertise is finding those people, qualifying them properly, and understanding who can genuinely make a difference.

A highly targeted commercial leadership search delivered with speed, precision and access to talent others would struggle to reach.
